It was a night that brought together a worldwide champion boxer, local business people and one very important cause; Dorset Mind.
Dorset Mind is a mental health charity that has been supporting local people with mental health difficulties since 1946. The work they do is simply phenomenal. Did you know the biggest killer of men under 45 years old is suicide? It’s a scary fact and one that Saxe Coburg hopes to try to change through campaigning for mental health.
Last month, Saxe Coburg Estate Agents who are based in Canford Cliffs (Poole) and Christchurch near Bournemouth, supported the first Life Experiences with Jason Fox. Jason is one of the SAS experts on hit Television Show, He Who Dares Wins (Channel 4) Jason shared his experience of mental health with the live audience and went into detail about how he overcame combat stress and some extremely hard times. His message is that you are never alone.
This month, Life Experiences returned with the iconic Anthony Joshua, at Poole Lighthouse. The black-tie, glamourous affair was a night to remember for all involved.
The Saxe Coburg table was full of support for the champion who shared stories of defeat, empowerment and his famous wins.
Although an affiliate of national Mind, Dorset Mind generate all their own funding so if you’d like to donate to this more than worthy cause, click here. Remember, all the funding goes back into our county so it’s more important to support local, now more than ever!
