The month of June saw the gallery launch of Ambassadeur Art, with award-winning and highly celebrated Saxe Coburg ‘Art’ lifestyle partner, Iain Alexander.

The launch attracted socialites and fashionistas from around the UK; it was great to see so many faces. The night air was filled with music, bubbles, art dealers and collectors, topped off with exquisite canapés by Molecular Magic and an explosion of creativity!

Ambassadeur Art is a brand-new concept on the south coast. They showcase original artworks from handpicked, cutting-edge, London artists, many of which were unveiled for the first time at the showroom launch.

The surprise collection included pieces from internationally acclaimed Iain Alexander whose works include a portrait of President Trump painted on ‘Handle with Care’ tape and a rare David Bowie portrait which sits in the private collection of Sir Dylan Jones, Bowie’s biographer.

Top contemporary artists joining Alexander included LA street artist, Plastic Jesus, whose revolutionaryworkhasbeenfeaturedextensivelyin the UKmedia,  Brazilian,  EduDanesi, infamous for his provocative and sensual self-taught style and lenticular evolutionary, Derrick Santini, from Yorkshire whose notable collectors range from Damien Hurst to Adele.

Ambassadeur Art gallery brings a fresh touch of London’s cutting-edge, contemporary art to Bournemouth’s seaside. They sell originals, specialise in commissions and work directly with internationally acclaimed and emerging artists to provide pieces for the home, office spaces or commercial interiors.

The night’s success supported the charity Amelia’s Rainbow. Founders Karl and Chantel Cox from Amelia’s Rainbow joined the occasion and now Amelia’s Rainbow is Ambassadeur Art’s first charity partnership whereby a percentage of sales is being donated to a different local charity each quarter.

If you’d like to visit Ambassadeur Art the showroom is located at 11 Westover Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH1 2BY.
