Here at Saxe Coburg we enjoy supporting businesses, people and projects within our area. We embark on a plethora of charity and community activities throughout the year and 2017 is no exception.
In June, our very own CEO Maximillian De Kment is taking part in the South West’s Business Come Dancing competition. This is a flagship event organised by Pavilion Dance used to support the work that they do for individuals with Parkinson’s through their Parkinson’s Dance Science programme.
Last year Business Come Dancing exceeded all expectations and rose over £10,000 for both the PDSW Parkinson’s Dance project and for the fantastic work at Lewis-Manning Hospice. This event’s following is growing rapidly and Saxe Coburg is delighted to be their main, headline sponsor this year, as well as taking part.
CEO Maximillian said of this; “I have so much admiration for Pavilion Dance and the Business Come Dancing competition. As a charity they are hugely pro-active in using the method of dance to inspire a healthy and active lifestyle. I am not a dancer and I have no experience in this field but I have agreed to take part to show others in my position that anything is possible! I wanted to support the charity and if I can do this by having some fun and learning a new skill along the way, then what better way to do so.”
Saxe Coburg will be there on the night to support our CEO and to meet other competitors and local businesses. Pavilion Dance is an incredible charity we genuinely admire as their events and the method of dance lift the whole community and promote the growth of Bournemouth as a ‘cultural capital’ for the benefit of our economy and of course our businesses.
The gala dinner will take place on the 23rd June at the Pavilion Ballroom. You can show your support and purchase tickets by calling the Pavilion Dance South West office on 01202 203630.
We’ll see you on the dance floor!
