Lashings World XI vs Saxe Coburg Invitational XI – 21st August

Join the Harlem Globetrotters of cricket for a charity cricket day, involving a corporate lunch followed by a 20/20 fixture.

Taking place at Bournemouth Sports Club (Chapel Gate) on 21st August, this one-day sporting extravaganza is designed to bring together the corporate fraternity, as well as cricket fans across the tri-counties, to revel in a summer soiree of sport and entertainment.

All-star names such as Gordon Greenidge, John Emburey and legendary commentator Henry Blofeld have been confirmed as honorary guests for the day.

We cannot wait to join forces with Dave Fitzgerald and Scott Charlton who run Lashings XI for the second consecutive year. This stylish event aims to support Lashings World XI, with their 2019 commitment to raise over £10,000 for Macmillan Caring Locally. The charity’s ‘brick by brick appeal’ has captured hearts locally and is extremely fitting with Saxe Coburg’s community goals this year.

Bournemouth Air Show – 29th August – 1st September 2019

It’s one of the biggest calendar events of the year, meaning we can’t wait for this year’s Bournemouth Air Show!

We are so lucky this world renowned event takes place on our southern shores. There’s already a anticipation in the air, and as the hype builds over the coming week locals and tourists alike will be planning the best place to watch the planes take to the skies.

This year, Bournemouth Air Show takes place from 29th August to 1st September. The free event has entertained more than 9.2million people since its inception in 2008, with a record amount of people expected this year.

Front row VIP hospitality sits in dedicated areas with bar facilities right on the beach and central flight line. Wherever you wish to take it all in, whether this be land, sea or air, you will get the best views right on the beach.

We hope you can visit just some of these events and really embrace what Bournemouth has to offer over the coming months.
